One Year of Impact: How Red Tent Fund is Transforming Abortion Access

When we launched Red Tent Fund last May, we had a clear vision: create a space where Jewish values of compassion and bodily autonomy could translate into tangible support for abortion seekers across America. Today, we are proud to share that in just one year, we’ve made remarkable progress in breaking down barriers to essential reproductive healthcare.

As our full press release details, we’ve distributed over $230,000 in abortion care funding since our founding, helping hundreds of people access critical healthcare in an increasingly restrictive landscape. And we’re just getting started – we’ve set an ambitious goal to more than double our impact in 2025.

What makes our approach different? While many abortion funds focus on supporting callers through warm lines, Red Tent Fund has pioneered a clinic partnership model that eliminates financial barriers directly at the point of care. Through strategic partnerships with seven clinics across Illinois, Virginia, New York, Maryland, Colorado, and Kansas, we’re streamlining access in a way that reduces burdens for both abortion seekers and clinic staff.

We are also thrilled to announce the formation of our National Leadership Council – a powerful group of accomplished women who bring their expertise and passion to advance our mission through strategic guidance and advocacy.

Our work is guided by the Jewish principle of tikkun olam – repairing the world – and by maintaining our focused mission of funding abortion care through a Jewish lens, we’re maximizing our impact where it’s needed most.

As we celebrate this milestone, we invite you to read our full press release to learn more about our journey, our impact, and how you can join us in ensuring that no one is denied essential reproductive healthcare. Thank you for helping us reach this exciting milestone!
