Allison Tombros Korman

Founder & Executive Director

Alli (she/her) is a strategic thinker and nonprofit leader with a passion for helping others. From 2022 to 2023, she led the DC Abortion Fund (DCAF) as Senior Operations and Strategy Director, until her resignation in response to antisemitic conduct by staff and Board. Prior to joining DCAF, Alli served as founding Executive Director of Culture of Respect, a leading national initiative to end campus sexual violence. She has provided management, support, and technical assistance to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and served as the Associate Director of Education for the Association of Reproductive Health Professionals (ARHP).

Alli holds a Masters of Health Sciences (MHS) from the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health and a B.A. from the University of Michigan in English and Women’s Studies. She also holds certificates in Restorative Justice Facilitation and Leadership from the University of San Diego and in Executive Facilitation from Georgetown University.

  • Danielle Kroo

    Interim Board President

    Danielle Kroo is the founder of SLD Impact Solutions, providing operational support and business strategy development for nonprofits and startups. With over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit, healthcare, and higher education sectors, she has held key positions across various organizations. Danielle served as the Director of Public Affairs at Planned Parenthood Keystone and spent 12 years at AIPAC in roles spanning policy, fundraising, and politics. She has also contributed her expertise as a board member for the Jewish Day School in the Lehigh Valley. Danielle will soon join the American Jewish Committee (AJC) as Director of Operations for the Center for Education Advocacy.

    As a dedicated professional, Danielle brings a wealth of knowledge in nonprofit management, advocacy, and strategic planning to every project she undertakes.

  • Sarah Lipton-Lubet

    Board Secretary

    Sarah Lipton-Lubet is president of Take Back the Court, an advocacy organization dedicated to Supreme Court reform. Before joining Take Back the Court in 2021, she served as Vice President for Reproductive Health and Rights at the National Partnership for Women & Families, and in various advocacy roles at the American Civil Liberties Union, Center for Reproductive Rights, and Religious Action Center for Reform Judaism.

    Sarah graduated summa cum laude from Northwestern University with a BA in American studies and earned her JD from Yale Law School. She clerked for the Honorable Nancy Gertner of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts and the Honorable Richard Paez of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
